MSI - Who will win it all?
We're out of the group stages now, and the field's pretty competitive and close. Honestly, I think its going to be RNG and CLG in the Finals, ending 3-2 for either team. Thoughts?

I actually agree. I don't know that anyone can beat RNG in s Bo5. If anyone can its SKT provided they get their act together. I think CLG will take FW. Unlike worlds last year where NA teams had a strategy that proved simple to counter by team in the second week, this CLG is proving harder to counter. Their macro game has been very clean and their team comps are so strong at team fighting which only helps their already good team fighting. If FW win I think it'll be through winning scrappy fights and building a if gold lead in the early before CLG can start team fighting.
RNG has been playing terribly with leads. They're showing real weaknesses after the losses to CLG and SKT. If they figure out how to close out a game, they'll win easily. If not, SKT will shut them down in the semifinals.
CLG has done well against FW thus far, but they probably will have a harder time in the semifinals. I hope they can still pull it off, but that will be a tight series.
If RNG makes the finals, I'd say they win it 3-0 against either opponent. If RNG continues to choke with the lead, I say SKT makes the finals and has a 3-1 win over either opponent, having found their confidence.
It'll obviously depend on who makes it out of the semis. If RNG faces CLG, I think RNG will win, but CLG definitely has a chance to upset.
If SKT moves on, they're winning it. I'm sure whoever they go against won't get run over, but if SKT has found their groove, they've just locked themselves an MSI title for their checklist.
FW could win, I haven't seen too many of their matches and don't know how they handle Bo5s, so I can't give an accurate rating for them. I think they'd lose against either opponent tbh, but they'll probably be able to steal at least a game off of them.
CLG can win it with how they've been playing, but it's easy to admit that they beat RNG due to cockiness. That cockiness will probably not show up in Bo5s. With that said, CLG do play well and will probably be able to defeat Flash Wolves to move forward. As far as match ups in the finals go, I've already made my points above.
SKT VS ROYAL could be a small taste of WORLDS CHAMPIONSHIP FINAL this year but I think SKT will take it even though Mata and looper has always had Faker's #. Flash wolves vs CLG is becoming an across the world rivalry as Wolves eliminated CLG at worlds last year but now CLG dropped Doublelift so now they can finally win something so I see CLG to win their round but it will BE VERY TOUGH.
Finals SKT wins 3-1
RNG is probably the favorite right now. I know SKT has a lot of hype cause they're world champions and KR and such, but they are NOT the same team they were last year. They are clearly more vulnerable and weaker overall this go around. It's not just this tournament, they've looked vulnerable all season. FW has a chance to upset everyone, but I don't see them doing it, they are the 4th tier team heading into semifinals and have been playing like it.
CLG has been strong all year, but they really kicked it up a notch during the NA LCS finals and have been looking really good since then. Huhi needs to stay away form Azir, lol, but if he does I think they have a legit chance against SKT and should beat FW. RNG would be the real challenge, but their weakness has already been shown - their late game is questionable while late game is the strength of CLG. The strategy seems simple enough for CLG, just take them to late game and win it. Easier said than done of course against a team that loves getting and pushing early leads. I think IMT having such a strong showing this year did a lot to make the rest of NA better, and CLG is benefiting from it. One thing I think CLG has done better than ANY team at MSI is adapt their playstyle to their opponents, and if they do that in a Bo5 then they have to be the favorite IMO.
My predictions:
CLG > FW 3-1 RNG > SKT 3-2
CLG > RNG 3-1
It's too hard to tell. I want CLG to win and yet It's almost anyone's game. I'll be excited either way, I hope for a close final.
If Silver Scrapes isn't playing during the Final I'll be very surprised.
