On the LoL Esports youtube channel there's an intro video about each NA LCS team except for CLG. Is this on purpose? As a CLG fan since the very beginning I find this unacceptable - if TSM deserve an introduction then so do CLG. #justiceForCLG
I've always gotten the impression that Riot really doesn't like CLG. Especially Doublelift.
First, I don't believe Riot actually does these videos, I'm pretty sure it's up to the organization to actually do them and give them to Riot. Now as to not liking CLG, I don't believe that Riot dislikes organizations for the sake of disliking them.
I'll also throw out there that CLG is constantly in trouble for violating rules from poaching players/staff, to account sharing. They're banned from Korean tournaments for 2 years in addition to having been fined something like 15k before the start of the season. Now don't get me wrong, it was exceedingly obvious that ZionSpartan and Scarra both wanted out of Dignitas, and didn't wish to renew, but CLG members went behind the back of the organization that possessed their contracts rather than being upfront about it and opening communications with the organization, which would have been fine. Then in the case of the poaching of Scarra, lied about it during the investigation.
So if Riot isn't fond of them it's not too hard to see why.
Because CLG sucked for years and years.
