Not Happy with Analyst Desk Selections
Apparently DL, Monte and Krepo are returning on the analyst desk. As a hardcore fan, this is BS. I am okay with Krepo, but DL and Monte are overrated player/coach and it is frustrating to see them been rewarded.
**DL ** DL is the captain of CLG, he is suppose lead CLG to Worlds, but instead they almost got relegated by Crs Academy. So much for the best ADC NA right? No problem though, he gets a free trip anyways to Korea.
Monte He is a host in SI, the analysis and comments he made has been subpar. I remember telling Curse Iwilldominate LIVE on the show, that Curse will not be 4th place in LCS. His ego is fucking higher than Himalayas. On twitter, he complained about timer making the gamer easier. Maybe he should fucking play the game first? Yea, he admitted on SI that he doesn't even play League.
Basically, I feel like Riot is somehow biased towards CLG. Sure there is a lot of CLGs fan, but there is a lot of non-CLG fans. Would Yankee fans like to see Red Sox players on the analyst desk? Probably not. It is pretty important for analysts/casters to be neutral and Krepo is a good example of that. Also, off-camera actions matters. Looks what happened to a couple of NBA owners. DL and Monte has lost my respect through off-camera actions. Monte's ego has made him a villain in my eyes. Riot's decision to reward those 2 people who make me reconsider supporting the game financially for the future.
