Worlds 2018

I pity the next team that has to play against SKT. Specifically, I pity their midlaner. After he recovers from this loss, the Demon King is going to be pissed as shit and out for blood. I expect the vengeance to be swift, terrifying, and utterly unstoppable. It will be glorious to behold. #SKTWIN2018

I doubt it.

Faker is human. This isn't an anime. Faker will be equal to his current state.

Agreed, he is playing at the human peak. He needs his team to get better, not improve himself.

I disagree. IMO skill doesn't have a hard limit, just an asymptote. Your personal limit just depends on how hard you're willing to push yourself, and after this I'm betting Faker's gonna be pushing pretty fucking hard.

I am just saying that having your preform better will help the team more than Faker improving. In all honestly in a different meta he probably could have solo carried the team.

Yes, I absolutely agree with this. Even Faker can't 1v9 every game, he needs a good team if he wants to reclaim the Summoner's Cup. However, I also think that due to a metashift and just pure revenge-fuelled rage Faker himself is going to be practically unstoppable in the midlane next year.

I predict that will take a lot of time to fully recover from this crying. Trust me, from https://www.invenglobal.com/articles/3341/skt-t1-faker-i-hope-to-finish-the-final-series-within-3-games-so-i-can-go-eat-quickly to crying is huge. It will haunt him his whole life. He will change, he will be more mature, less cocky... but still he will have a scar about this.

With all the changes this next year, NALCS teams, the change in game, I am not sure what to expect.

My instinct tells me it will be a year of upheaval and may be anyone's game by the time we get to worlds, will be interesting to see as we go along.

I think if somebody from SKT turns up huge next year it's going to be Bang.

This was a terrible year from him and he really seemed to be done with the game. I wouldn't be surprised if he retires.

But if he doesn't he will come out stronger then ever, to prove he still belongs on SKT.

This gonna be predictable. All KR team will pass the group stage which they did it for 5 straight years and that would be the 6th if they pass it AGAIN. The only teams that can beat the KR teams is by another KR team. Again, 5 straight years and that would be the 6th once again. The finals is China VS Korea or Korea vs Korea.
