OHminus1 votesWhat makes you say that? Korea literally lost only ONE bo5 to an EU team in the past 2 years when they've been perceived as "weak", and that was the incredibly close G2 vs SKT bo5 at MSI
I know you hate the East but this is ridiculous, Damwon and Griffin looked scary in week 2 and IG looked better with Ning than Leyan. Writing off Korean teams because "oh they can't beat EU in a bo5" is the most ridiculous thing I've heard all week.
ChompyWulf1 votesI'd like to add that SKT has evolved and will bring more varied comps onto the rift to deal with non standard drafts. They weren't adaptable at MSI and it cost them in a close series. Since then Effort has been better than Mata was, they are drafting to manage whatever comes at them, and they are relaxed and performing very well. Korea may take three of four semifinal spots. I won't bet on it, but it's possible.

Last time G2 met a korean team, it was SKT (first seed..) and defeated them in a b05. G2 didnt have the most convincing group phase at msi either. So, what the hell man.

Just Chrissy1 votesGriffen have never one any important best of 5 except for the gauntlet in the year and a half they've been playing. Damwon don't have the Talent to beat out G2 especially in the botlane since nuclear is a potato. Yes ofc SKT will destroy splyce but I think splyce might get a game since SKT have a habit of slowing down in the midgame and Splyce love lategame. FNC I would like to say yes they'll beat FPX just like season 5 and EDG buuuut they're inconsistent so saying it's a fact is just silly.
