I'm really conflicted right now...

In Worlds, the #1 teams from NA, EU, China, and Korea have different groups. So, in turn, the #1 LMS team, ahq, will have to play against one of the winners of the different regions' summer split (at least I think so, I don't know exactly how the non-LCS regions are seeded).

Now, what I'm conflicted on is what region's winner I want to face ahq. I think that ahq is a good team, a team that can play well at a Worlds level. I definitely don't want ahq to face FNC or SKT, as those are very dominant in their regions (3 losses between them, I think), and I'm already assuming that they will win their regional finals (I'm also hoping that they will be the two final teams in the knockout stage, but me getting both things I want is unlikely). Now, 2 weeks ago, I would have told you that I would want ahq to play against the NA winner, since then, I thought EDG was the best team in China by far. However, times change, and it looks like LGD could take the China crown. LGD has never seen high-level international competition (at least in League). TSM, the team who will probably 3-1 CLG in the NA finals (because TSM hates Danny McCarthy), has international experience, but hasn't had success other than at IEM (where they 3-1'd WE), where they didn't really face many top teams.

I don't know if I want LGD to face ahq, or if I want it to be TSM. I guess I'll just root for it to be one of the two, and not a team who will crush them and crowd them out.

The only thing I want is the group which has ahq should have a wildcard and not a NA#3 or EU#3

I don't think the Fnatic would crush AHQ to be honest. I do seem to recall that AHQ was pretty dominant in its region this split as well. And I got a good chuckle at the remark about TSM hating Danny McCarthy. If UoL hadn't crapped the bed with their pick/ban phase vs Fnatic(putting Vardags on Lucian so much or putting in a Kayle mid devourer that would get starved, or going Runeglaive mid Ezreal post nerf), there was a slim possibility we would've had Silver Scrapes. Here's hoping that Origen can strike up the band and take it to game 5.

But I digress. What I'm really hoping for, is that TSM pull a Baltimore Ravens(for Ray Lewis in his final season), go all the way, and Dyrus' final ride ends in the best way. With a World Championship. Extremely slim chance, and depends on who survives group stage, who surprises, and who crashes. I could see AHQ vs TSM happening at some point, but it's also a good chance of AHQ vs LGD or SKT-1.

Their best chance to win would be playing whoever wins the NA region.

I want to see AHQ get out of groups, no matter who they gotta face. They shouldn't really be worried about the #1 they gotta face, they should be worried about the other 2 teams tbh. If they can take 1 game off the #1, that's good, but it won't matter if they can't 2-0 or 1-1 the other 2 teams.
