He's good in pretty much all matches if you're confident. He has a decent/strong laning phase and has the best scaling in the game imo (besides nasus viegar and viktor.) At least that is my opinion of it. Hopefully they don't nerf him now. Lol. Also which LCS game was he played in?

He's another champion that's supposed to be awesome on paper but looks kind of weak in-game. His damage is sneaky though and does add up. I think his CC factor is heavily overvalued though. There are plenty of mid mages that with better ults and CC in general.

His win rate has gone from 44% to 50% over the course of two patches simply down to bugfixes. He's pretty much broken right now.

Bugfix made him a lot smoother to play and a lot easier to execute his combos, that's pretty much it.

Bug fixes, tanks are coming back cause Assassins are coming back, safe laning, hes probably the best control mage along with Orianna, and can kill tanks better than almost any other mid laner.

I can't speak for the others, I've just been meaning to pick him for a while now, so after finally saving up the IP and giving into the temptation, instead of waiting for Aurelion Sol's release I bought Azir. ...Basically he's fun.
