Jayce Picked/Banned At Worlds

Its a conspiracy to get him nerfed by picking him enough in pro play

he is slightly over buffed

They just gave him a substantial buff, and he saw some pro play before the buff.

They also have nerfed other competitors in the previous patches.

He has been a solid pick for mid lane in LCK (but not overly good) and then got a buff. He's in a position where he is doing well, even in proplay, but isn't abusive in soloq

Haha. Jayce is broken and will get slammed with the nerfbat after worlds.

He was buffed but also brings a lot of things to the table.

He can burst fairly hard. He can bring powerful poke. He can deal decent consistent damage. He can disengage single targets and engage when necessary. He's a flex pick(can go top or mid). And he's a decent laner.

Jayce is kind of a Jack of all Trades, he can do a lot of things while never excelling in anything(except maybe poke). That combined with the buffs he received are probably what makes him so desirable for the pros.
