I really am proud of CLG. They did extremely well in all stages of the tourney. But I think as much credit they deserve, it's only fair to point out the bad as well.

Why didn't they just...play. it's not even a secret. EVERYBODY knows skt is a low risk low reward, punish mistakes, make it to late game team fights and macro play teams down. I just feel like they tarnished their performance. Getting crushed in a "normal"game is one thing. CLG isn't skt. But to just lose the game on the first 4 minutes was...frustrating to watch. And it was OBVIOUSLY a bad call. Not just a decent call that didn't go how they wanted. I'm speaking of the blue buff fiasco. Anyway gg skt AND CLG for their performance in MSI.

They seemed a little too amped up at the start of the series. I think they collected themselves fairly quick, but by then they were already in a hole and that's never a good place to be against SKT. That Cass hail mary in the 3rd game was a bit much as well. I like Cass and was happy to see her, but Huhi plays quick burst mages a lot better. His Ekko play was actually pretty good, it was extremely unlucky in that failed collapse in game 2. Don't try and make it sound like SKT intentionally stunned him 1mm from his stun that was just straight up luck.

Like...it was bad bad. A silver ranked team would have been able to punish that.

I remember watching that moment as he took 2 creeps. I was losing my @@@@ b/c Blank was being out farmed by a jungler. Then I saw multiple deaths across the map and thinking, "Aw @@@@". I have the feeling that CLG was definitely playing to win, but I also feel that they played this series as a way to show a message: We are not afraid. That comp in game 1 and game 2 was ballsy, and it almost worked the second time. Sometimes it isn't the victory that matters, but rather the message it sends. Robert Greene Ingersoll is quoted "The greatest test of courage on earth is to bear defeat without losing heart." CLG definitely had beared defeat that deserves admiration. They had stood up to SKT like no other team had. And that's why we say "GG SKT and CLG"
