We have been playing the meta wrong all this time

So, I watch all the Legue contests that I can (LCS EU, NA LCK, LPL etc).So today I was watching the CBLOL ( Brazil, the league that has Kabum, you know that one, that beat Aliance) and there was the match for 5 place and it was best of 3. In the first match 1 team won with a Top lane ( Do you even season 2), Second match same team, a Top lane, 3 match a top lane as well. This along with Urgot yesterday, and I am sure that we have been playing the meta game all wrong.
