Why does the LCS caster for the TSM vs RNG game always have to claim outplay when its not.
Lee sin pressed W to get away.
''AND ANOTHER OUTPLAY BY SVENSKEREN''
...?
Lee sin pressed W to get away.
''AND ANOTHER OUTPLAY BY SVENSKEREN''
...?
because its a lee sin, every time a q is landed or a w pressed, its an outplay
If a champ was baited into using multiple Cds, and you kill them or escape, it doesn't matter if you used 1 button or 6, you outplayed them...
Doing something is a play
Outperforming your opponent is an outplay
QED, doing something that outperforms your opponent is an outplay
Because Svenskeren was a freaking monster in that game.
Every play is pressing buttons.
One man's outplay is another man's misplay.
You're taking it out of context. RNG was trying to catch him out but didn't succeed. He outplayed their play.
It's called color commentary. Like how casters get excited by every home run, completed pass, and Don Cherry's wardrobe.
it's just a
thing, he can put a wards and caster gonna go:
"whoa, waht an outplay! amazing11!!1 much skill, such champ...
and now we are back to this boooooooooooooring 5-man ult from gnar... meh...
but look!
here comes that boi LEE (LC$) SIN!1!1!
he pressed his amazing ultimate (kicking enemy back to safety)...
that was trully amazing, its his team's fault they didnt follow such great play by LEE (LC$) SIN!!"
Apparently every time someone does anything that includes them playing and getting an advantage in a fight, its an outplay.
In still remember a while ago I saw a clip where an Ali headbutt pulverized the adc and the announcer was like "OUTPLAY" and I'm sitting there thinking "isn't that just a two button combo they practice daily?"
LUL that's pretty funny
It's like they've never known (or forgotten) what champions can do with a single button press. Weren't one of the commentators a past-pro? These things shouldn't be as surprising nor exciting to him. For example; anyone with a shield saves themselves from poke, and they cheer going 'woah that denial of burst!'
cause caster suck lmfao i mute em and listen to music while watching the match. Elise walks into the bush cacoons poppy point blank caster: OH WHAT AN OUTPLAY BY ELISE HITTING THAT CACOON OUT OF FOG OF WAR WHILE THE ENEMY POPPY MOVED DIAGONICLY INTO IT AHAHADHSFHABSHGASNHBGFASNFKJASNAKJNJFKSAB. yeh no
Nobody gets hired to continuously talk over games for the sense in their heads, they get hired because they're obnoxious enough to continuously talk over games in the first place.
LeBlanc pressed QW & deletes 80% of ADC's HP.
"THAT'S WHY ____ IS SO GOOD WITH LEBLANC!!"
[slayer-jinx-unamused]
"AND LEE GETS AWAY AGAIN WITH THAT OUTPLAY."
R
"AND THERE'S KARTHUS WITH THE DOUBLE! SUCH MAGNIFICENT OUTPLAYS ON BOTH SIDES!"
that's the dream i had last night.
They also love to hype up certain teams/players and make really unwarranted claims based on extremely small sample sizes. Then, if the predictions don't come true, it's a massive upset and "underperforming". I don't take the commentary seriously regarding top teams or players.
are you referring to papasmithy? if so then I agree, the dude just seems out of place casting LoL
reminds me of the 2 old dudes in dota l0l
Because the commentators sometimes don't even listen to themselves talking.
Remember when some moron said "Ryze is a mysterium only Faker seems to understand"? RYZE? Mr. RollYourHeadOverTheKeyboard?
The caster's themselves are mainly bronze players who get amazed very easily about mechanics. Most of the"out plays" they call are just miss plays haha. He's a horrible announcer, he just yells.

I mean, did the other guy waste summoner spells or items?
