will you stop...

the euw, na, eue, lck, and so on is just where the teams are divided among the servers just like with any professional league...

lets take soccer do you think all the players that play for liverpool are from liverpool?

MrHaZeYo2 votes

This^

Also since when was 2/5 of a team = all from Europe?

Raoul2 votes

They have 6 players, only 3 are NA, 2 are EU and one is chinese... They are only 50% NA...

Borkahn1 votes

Lol you deleted your comment when I proved you wrong. and 50% NA is still an NA team. only 33% of the team is EU. Therefore it is not an EU team. Especially not when Hauntzer has been popping off.

Confused, who is the chinese player again? Also, just because reggie is a sub doesn't mean he's "one of their players". It's like saying that TSM is 50% canadian when they have turtle/bio while also having oddone as a sub.

Borkahn2 votes

Bio was born in China, spent 3 and a half years I think someone said above and then immigrated to Canada. For the sake of it being based on where you are born, he would be Chinese. Where he lived, he would be canadian.

Either case, I still don't really get the "replace NA with EU" thing when you consider that A) EU has just replaced those players with koreans and more importantly B) creating teams that choke in the group stages of worlds is considered a success?

Borkahn1 votes

Practically noone here agrees with what this man has said. Especially since 50% of the roster is NA born whether from Canada or USA. Dude was an idiot.

MrHaZeYo1 votes

Originally from Beijing, China, but immigrated to Vancouver, Canada when he was 3 years old.

I'm pretty sure living in Canada for 15-17 years makes him more North American than Chinese, as far as culture does.

Biofrost born in China <------- LPL Wildturtle born in Canada <------NA Hauntzer born in America <------NA Bjersen born in Demark <-----EU Svenskeren born in Denmark <----- EU Doublelift born in America <-------NA

1/2 the team is NA 1/3 of the team is EU and 1/6 of the team is LPL

Your math is atrocious.

Borkahn2 votes

Oh I agree. But it for the rebuttal to his point about TSM mostly being born in Europe. Had to pull where he was born

MrHaZeYo2 votes

Fair enough, so in reality TSM is 4/6 NA and 2/6 EU.

Also to be fair Berj has played more in NA then he did in EU lol, considered a domestic player. I'd still consider him EU tho.

JavelinJoe1 votes

don't forget that technically now Bjersen counts as a NA player and not an EU player.

Kinjishi1 votes

DL isn't back until summer, so until then he doesn't count. Your ability to count is atrocious.

Borkahn1 votes

Funny because I've read he is already back with the team. He just isn't playing in MSI. But he is still with the team. Maybe read an article? Open a book? Research? Do something before opening your mouth and looking like an idiot.

you are dumb for bitching over this. and i already explained its not about where the players are from its is about on which server they are on.

if you remember the team LMQ? where they moved from CHINA and the china server to NA ? now they are TIP ?

but they competed and played in NA even though the team was started in china

The very next split/season the LCS added rules preventing that from happening again, with restrictions on how many fresh out-of-region players a team could have.

As I recall, living in the region for a year locked you in as a "resident" of that region as far as the LCS goes.

oSEXYPLATYPUSo1 votes

it dont matter its so called professional "sports" it should be separated into conferences like east and west ... equal number of teams ... then divisions in the conferences... have a true "free agency" and you win your division, conference and the two conference winners play for champion ship.

and then it wont matter if so and so was born in X place or use to play on Y server

DeadTrannies1 votes

How is EU even a region when all their players CHOOSE to come to NA LOL

Raoul1 votes

They chose to accept big $$$.

DeadTrannies1 votes

Not only does he count as NA if you ask most of them they consider themselves americans now anyway, bjerg included

Replace all NA players with EU players

We stole them fair and square. It's not our fault all the good Euro players like NA or more specifically Los Angeles better.
Bet you'd live here too if you could.

Hell pay me as much as they payed Bjergsen to move and I would live nearly everwhere and tell everyone its the land of milk and honey...
