I saw a guy drive by the other day with CLG and C9 bumper stickers. Caught me off guard a little.

Like any investment, sport, scene, industry there will always be "doubt" in being popular not for just 1-2 years but to have a legacy to build upon the future for all generations new or old for years to come. For League I personally can say it has an impact on my life and in my mainstream of enjoyment and entertainment.
Games come and go as the years past but the players..... the players are different than just people playing a game for example Halo then COD then the next game for people to play, but for League it has built not just a player base to play the game but also also a foundation of players in the pro scene.
Look at pro teams in traditional sports and the fans that follow some of those teams, my dad for example loves the Raiders mainly not just because of the cool logo but those who played or coached within the team to have a "bond" sort of speak.

We all know the investments that certain teams have going for them( Rick Fox with Echo Fox, Shaq I think had NRG to invest in, the NBA Bucks with FlyQuest and so on. Look at the World before all of us what do you see ?
Games, superhero movies, technology, computers, online, other stuff that is green(you know). Times are changing, no more of the same ol' same but a different time, can not say it bad nor good but times change and so do people.

Unfortunately League will never be mainstream, maybe cs, smash brothers, or something that is "simpler" (shoot the other guy, punch the other guy, etc. ) Unless you have ever played all the different champions, abilities, etc, will have you like wtf. Ex. watch dota, moba like league but It is difficult to follow.
