Group B Tiebreaker

Can anyone explain the logic that I may have missed in the 3 way tiebreak in Group B? Granted, it didn't harm anyone because Fnatic won 2 in a row... But why exactly did GBM manage to only have to win one game to qualify when IMT and FNC had to win 2 in a row? Am I missing something?

This has me concerned for the possibility of a 3 way tie come Group D now because of the way it operated.

GAM had the fastest game wins, so they were placed higher than the other two teams.

There are also cases where WHO beat who matters as well.
