Can anyone explain the logic that I may have missed in the 3 way tiebreak in Group B? Granted, it didn't harm anyone because Fnatic won 2 in a row... But why exactly did GBM manage to only have to win one game to qualify when IMT and FNC had to win 2 in a row? Am I missing something?
This has me concerned for the possibility of a 3 way tie come Group D now because of the way it operated.

There are also cases where WHO beat who matters as well.
Dolfanatic1 votesThis actually irks me a lot. But at least it clarifies my confusion a bit. Just bothersome because eSports are different in that sense where different compositions take time, etc. It's not like NFL tiebreaks where Point Differences are the deciding factor. I feel like tiebreak scenarios should have been done differently in a game where time forced strategies don't change a winning playstyle. Just my opinion though.

Dolfanatic1 votesI'd rather repeat the Group with a best of 1 and 3 teams and coin flips for preferred side (Red/Blue) and if it ties again, repeat and flip sides. Would take a long time, but I hate the concept of awarding early winning team compositions and punishing patient teams. Forcing patient teams to play at a faster pace loses games.

Yes lets get them to get 1-1 again. So they play for 14 hours and have to do the same again.

MysterQ1 votesYea. It was something like the records were the same BUT one team beat the other, so the team that won automatically went through. Even though the records were tied, they lost already to the other team lol. It doesn't make sense.
