Nice to know that despite our huge, up and down split, with about 5 top teams at different points...

We still have Cloud9 and TSM going to Worlds. And NA will probably lose again, because we have CLG and nobody else new. I highly doubt both TSM and C9 will even get top 8. Especially because it's nearly certain that one of them will play both ahq and either LGD, FNC, or SKT. Heck, I doubt TSM could even beat Origen, and they are a 3rd pool team. Basically, the only remote chance that NA has is that one of the 3 will get an extraordinarily lucky draw, while the other two get terrible draws, and then that the actual good teams get upset by teams that these good teams don't just want to dumpster for shitz and gigglez. Kinda like what happened at IEM Katowice.

Still salty. Didn't you have a TIP emblem 2 days ago? LOL

And also yoshi why is it that you are angry at c9 for always winning with the same roster but also angry now when they struggled with a new roster? You literally come up with a new reason to hate cloud 9 in every discussion it's getting kinda hard to see one reason in particular

The teams that lost, don't deserve to go to worlds. Thats just the cold, hard facts. If they did, they should have beat a 7th place team. But they didn't. You can cry all you want, but they had chances to win and go to worlds, and they couldn't pull it off. No matter what you think, the best equipped teams from NA are going to worlds. C9 had the mental fortitude to hold up in the gauntlet, which speaks a lot to what you actually NEED at worlds; a team that can deal with pressure. Because, these other top teams are going to have them under pressure.

Anyways, stay mad. Blame your team for not winning, instead of crying about what teams are going.

Regardless of all this... It was heartbreaking to me, as a Team Liquid/Curse fan to watch my team "break the curse" both splits and still end up fourth place and not make it to worlds. I thought at one point this split Team Liquid was the best team in NA and could represent us at Worlds really well and maybe even make it through groups and make noise at knockouts.... Sorry for hijacking. C9 made me salty.

Cheese picks are generally 1 time picks. You are hyping up Gravity and Keane to the max, when those guys are nothing but 1 time cheese picks. I mean make up your mind. You just agreed that C9 cheese picked quite a bit, but would rather a WORSE team like Gravity to go? Makes zero sense. They would lose even worse then c9.

These guys like lots of picks. He hasnt played Draven at all, and you come out with "comfort" pick. Dude, do you not hear yourself? Guy plays 14 games, brings Draven out in his last series, and now all of a sudden you think that c9 is doomed if they ban draven. I guess its your blood pressure affecting your brain, from all that salt in your system.

C9 may not be able to cheese their way through worlds. But guess what? They just beat 3 other teams that are worse then them. Thats right. 3 other teams got beat, which means C9 deserved to go over all of them. This new format sends the best teams to worlds. Deal with it. Whether you think they have a chance of doing anything or not, they are still better suited than TIP/Gravity/TL because they beat them. Thats how things work.

Origen is overrated. And, so is EU for that matter. All of their teams are terrible outside of Fnatic. Its no different then when say, C9 was going 27-3 in NA. They werent only going 27-3 because they were good, but also because everyone else was just awful. There is no parity in Eu atm. Just like, some splits, there is no parity in NA. Neils looks better than he is anyways. He plays in a region with weak bot lanes. Yea I said it. NA has far better bot lanes. We have already seen Amazing in NA. The 2 good players on that team is Soaz and Mithy. Xpeke isnt even good anymore. They are just an overrated team, in a weak split. I dont mind people hyping up Fnatic. They are good. But listening to people pretend Origen is some amazing world-beater, is just crazy. Eu, IMO, is a weak region atm, with basically Fnatic. I mean you have Giants in the play-offs for god's sake. Origen isnt going to do crap at worlds but lose. Fnatic, and maybe CLG, are the 2 teams that MIGHT do something.

At least a team like c9 is a wildcard team. They can possibly pull a game or 2 off people.

Personally I dont care about all that. The only thing that really grinds my gears, is you pretending any other team in the gauntlet should have went over the team that beat all of them, in 3 days. Thats just troll logic. If they deserved to win, they should have sucked it up and won a series. Instead of just getting beat by a guy who never jungled before, and a flailing 7th place team. Its really irrelevant how c9 does at worlds; they deserved it over the 3 other teams they beat. None of those teams bring anything else to the table. C9 has cheese over gravity, and mental fortitude over TL/Tip.

I have no hopes for NA. After 4+ years of international tournaments, I have no reason to have any hope otherwise.

dude you can hate on c9 all you want I don't understand it still and I know you tried to explain it but I honestly think there is no explanation at this point. you can be a eu fanboy though that's ez they have very low standards for it like their teams (cough cough giants cough cough cough roccat cough cough)

and the worst part is how he has brought this up in every discussion. he cant let any fans of c9 have a celebration instead he goes around and brings up "yeah well tl or tip woudlve had a better chance cause cloud 9 is going to be crap at worlds. stfu man we all watched the qualifiers in the end whoever wins wins we all felt bad for tl yes but it still went the way of c9. they were the ones that invented many powerfull picks. who made naut support come out? lemonation. who brought out shyvana? hai. who had the guts to go freaking draven in the final games they needed to win to go to worlds? sneaky. what does eu bring out? what NA makes in many scenarios and yes Fnatic is a boss and YES SOAZ can probably carry the team through quite a few games at worlds but in the end what happens when xpeke is targeted? they struggle. what happens when neils falls behind early? they struggle. they are like the team liquid of EU which I guess is why you like them and I have nothing against that. but just leave all the cloud 9 people alone and let them have the moment. we all had to go through the most painfull split for them since they joined in and the fact that they ran the gauntlet is like a miracle to us. go ahead but at this point im getting kinda tired bro :C

I don't know why fanatic and possibly origen are even in the same sentence as the rest of the teams front the west. Im an origen fan so I have to say they played like crap during the gauntlet. I think they relied on individual outplay to just brute force their way past EU teams, which is saying a lot even though they looked bad. But on a macro or micro scale level NA teams don't have a chance cept maybe CLG. This international tournament will be about top lanes. HUni, Soaz and ZIonspartan are the three best from the west.

JaceDownAsheUp9/1/2015, 12:40:14 PM1 votes

Also Xpeke got dumpstered this weekend...and pulled out vlad again. Either he is holding back and has been practicing other champs or he will be the reason origen doesn't do as well as they could at worlds. I mean POE just crapped on him

dakm1029/1/2015, 2:38:58 PM1 votes

But the problem with saying na has no chances is that outside of tsm nobody has played with their current rosters internationally. Cloud 9 is different due to the changes of his in jungle and incarnati0n mid. While clg hasn't gone international in a long time. Yes I do believe tsm is gonna get smacked. But c9 and clg easily have a chance since they have more diverse champ pools and more ways to play the game effectively

DestructoDave9/1/2015, 8:30:28 PM1 votes

Its guys like you that make me wonder if you even watch LCS, or just bandwagon on at the end. So now all of a sudden, Draven is a comfort pick, as if Sneaky was picking it all season. The only person with a small champion pool atm, is Balls. Incarnation is playing just about everything well, so is sneaky. Even Hai seems to have a decent champion pool.

They might not make it out of groups if their group stage is hard, or maybe they surprise people. If anything, C9 seems to be the REAL cheese team atm. They are playing picks no one else are. Sion, Shyv, Kha, Draven, Karma, you name it they play it.

I dont know why you think 2 teams that lost in the gauntlet are better suited for worlds. You are just salty as hell that your team didn't make it. Maybe they need to just get good then. Need a team that doesnt buckle under pressure; not players who mentally shut down after 2 losses like half of TL. Guys literally gave up mentally after game 3. And you want players like that to go?

And, anything can happen. Not saying NA is going to win, but dont be surprised when NA out-performs EU. I dont understand why people think Origen is good at all. They are no better then the NA teams, and probably worse. If you want to pin your hopes on a Western team, pick Fnatic; even they may get punished come worlds.

Why you guys havent learned that anything can happen by now is beyond me. Esports is FINALLY starting to mirror real sports in its ability to have unpredictable outcomes. The closer the skillgaps get, the more cinderella teams will start popping up. The closer the teams get, the more C9 stories are going to happen. It happens all the time in sports like the NFL. Random team backs into playoffs 8-8, gets hot, makes a run through the entire play-offs, wins superbowl. Happens often. Its going to start happening in Esports, when the skill gap closes.

Are you saying that if Tip, TL, and Gravity went to worlds NA would have a better chance? Get real.
