Am I the only one that thinks AHQ is getting out of the group stage?

People have all been saying that in group B the two that will be top two is IG and FNC. IG is good and I think they will be #1 in group but with FNC, I don't think they will be #2 seed because of AHQ. If you have looked at FNC in the EU Lcs Rekkles, was like the carry (IMO) with the pentas he got on UOL and OG and just overall he is good. If you watch FNC play against AHQ at MSI, AHQ shut down steelback by focusing on the bot lane and they destroyed them. So if AHQ does the same thing against Rekkles they will probably destroy FNC again. IMO

The Fnactic team at MSI was significantly weaker than the Summer Split Fnatic...Steeelback was always their weak link cause he kept getting crushed in lane, Rekkles is a different caliber. I agree that AHQ has a very good chance at making it out of groups but so do IG and FNC. For me Invictus will take first and Fnatic second but it will be very close games between the 3 top teams of the group.

I would agree, but I think it will be FNC > ahq > IG.

Also, Rekkles > Steeelback. Steeelback couldn't even get a very good CS team to the LCS.

Its going to be close in this group with AHQ and FNC but i think fnatic will get out of the groups and ahq won't

I think so. It not like the second place korea or china team.

Steelback was (is) worse than Rekkles at all stages of the game, and at every situation. The team's overall play as a unit has massively improved from their MSI version, so if you really ask me, I don't think AHQ can beat them if both teams are playing at their highest level of play.

Consider that FNC took SKT to 5 games at MSI, and that was a much inferior version of FNC than current.

And the LMS is not LPL or LCK levels.

Nothing is set in stone though. I'm a FNC fangirl and all, but I really feel the 3 teams have chances of knocking each other out. I still believe it'll be FNC and IG, but it could be anything really. Even FNC/AHQ or AHQ/IG if one of the teams makes that one fatal mistake that we've seen many times happen to the best teams across regions and seasons.

There's no team at the level of what SSW was last year. It'll be way closer than ever before I feel.
