Am I the only one that thinks AHQ might beat SKT?

Guys look, if you watch the SKT games from their groups, MaRin carried. The thing is, the toplaners in that group suck. Even the toplaner of EDG. What I mean is he is under performing Honesty, every group got challenge by other teams (not including Group C)

MaRin is going up against probably the third or 4th best toplaner in the world (After Ssumday and MaRin) This is where he is going to get challenge for the first time in worlds. The weak spots for AHQ is in there mid and jg If westdoor doesn't feed and Mountain makes plays for the bot lane, they might have a chance to win. Also An is one of the best ADC's at worlds (That are still in it) not including people like Imp, Honesty if AHQ just fix there mistakes when they play against Fnatic, they will look very strong.

You're saying he hasn't been challenged? Who do you think Marin played against all of LCK. Ssumday and Smeb... Lol. They swept all those games. And Bang is highly underrated because the rest of his team is so good. An looks good because no one else on his team is performing. Bang is the least dying AD carry in the world. With wolf to keep him safe and Marin and Bengi always on point I don't see where AHQ has the advantage. As long as SKT plays their control style they will win. Even skirmishing SKT has the upper hand. They LOVE to skirmish. Everyone on that squad has super low Kill participation because of each players ability to outplay and catch out opponents.

Faker isn't the prime focus here anymore. Teams still have to keep him down because he can still carry but that leaves Marin and Bang open to hard carry the games. I don't see any glaring weaknesses with SKT.

It's possible. The only problem is that Westdoor's best champion is Fizz, and being so dependent on one champion against somebody like Faker will get you destroyed.

AN went on a hot streak with Jinx, but I doubt that's enough to beat SKT.

Yes. It's just you. Easiest path to the finals. Enjoy those SKT skins, bois.

I think it could happen, but SKT just seemed more consistently strong in the way the played in their games. I will be cheering for AHQ, and it could happen, but I still think AHQ are huge under-dogs in the match-up.

I'm pretty sure Faker can take advantage of their weak midlane. The reason top carried was because it was the easiest way to carry. When mid is the enemy weakpoint, you can expect mid to carry. An has only shown great performances on Jinx. Wouldn't be surprised to see her banned unless SKT already has a way to deal with her reliably.

AHQs real problem is I feel they showed everything they have prepared already in FNC games and won't have much to surprise SKT with.

SKT on the other hand were not pressured at all and if they have to they can play something crazy.

No. SKT hardly EVER makes a mistake from what Ive so far in Worlds. They are head and shoulders above everyone else when it comes to team fights and map control as well

SKT has never been this strong the fact that faker barely needed to even do anything to get out of groups without a single lost says a lot about skt this year, they really need to pull a c9 to lose this worlds imo.

SKT had an easy group when you think about it. I sure EDG and SKT looked at each other and was like "Yeah were both making it out of here"

For all we know EDG was really sandbaggin against SKT knowing H2K and Bangkok had no shot against them.

It's possible that both EDG and SKT won't be able to adapt to the Western styles since they haven't faced any strong Western teams.
