NA LCS Playoffs/Worlds stuff
I felt like making a full analysis on the NA LCS and who's going to the playoffs (we already know this but still), what their seeds will be, and who's going to Worlds. So I did.
TEAMS GOING TO THE PLAYOFFS: TSM TL CLG GV TIP DIG (Not in that order)
THE LAST WEEK OF THE NA LCS: (My predictions) TL>T8 CLG>DIG GV>TIP TSM>NME C9>TDK (this is important for later, despite having 0 playoff teams involved) DIG>NME CLG>T8 (I could honestly go either way on this one, but I'm gonna pick CLG) TSM>C9 GV>TDK TIP>TL
THE STANDINGS AFTER WEEK 9: GV: 14-4 TIP: 13-5 CLG: 13-5 TSM: 12-6 TL: 12-6 DIG: 10-8 T8: 6-10 C9: 6-10
THE PLAYOFF BRACKET AND TIEBREAKERS: Gravity is in first and has the top/1st seed. Dignitas is in last and has the bottom/6th seed. TIP and CLG are tied, and they split the series. They will need to have a tiebreaker, which I think TIP will win. TIP is in the 2nd seed. CLG is in the 3rd seed. TSM and TL are tied, and also split the series. They have a tiebreaker, TL wins. TL is in the 4th seed. TSM is in the 5th seed. T8 and C9 are tied, and split the series. If T8 wins, C9 forfeits their Worlds points and goes to the relegation tourney. If C9 wins, they keep their Worlds points. I'll show both possibilities later.
ROUND ONE OF THE PLAYOFFS: TL VS TSM The only thing that tiebreaker decided was who was on blue side more. Seriously. I'm not even sure if Rito would even play that match out or if anyone would take it seriously. In any case, the teams play each other, TSM wins the 5 game series. TSM is just good at that. CLG VS DIG Either team can win, but I say it'll be CLG.
SEMIFINALS: TSM VS GV Here's a tough one. It's hard to pick, but I'll go with Gravity in 5. TIP VS CLG TIP wins. CLG was wiped out by TL last split, and I don't think they can stop TIP.
3RD PLACE: TSM VS CLG TSM wins.
FINALS: GV VS TIP Gravity wins the Summer Split.
WORLDS IMPLICATIONS: Gravity automatically goes to Worlds. TSM goes to Worlds with the most points (160). TIP has 100 points. TL has 90 points. CLG has 50 points. DIG has 20 points. C9 has 70 points.
IF Cloud9 beats Team 8: DIG is eliminated. CLG and C9 play in the first round. The winner of that will play TL in round 2. The winner of that will play TIP in the final round. The winner of that goes to Worlds.
IF Team 8 beats Cloud9: C9 is eliminated. CLG and DIG play in the first round. Winner plays TL. Winner plays TIP. Winner goes to Worlds.
In either case, TIP will probably go to Worlds.
SO THE NA LINEUP FOR WORLDS IS GRAVITY, TEAM SOLOMID, AND TEAM IMPULSE. PROBABLY.
