I'm Lost. CLG still has to play Regionals. Who's Going to Worlds for NA right now?
I know TSM is qualified to go. What about IMT and CLG who got 2nd and 3rd place? Why does CLG still have to play?

Each region only sends 3 teams to worlds. The first seed team is the winner of the Summer Split. Second seed is the team with the most championship points, and third seed is whoever wins the gauntlet run.
Since TSM won the spring split, they have the most championship points. However, since the won Summer, they auto qualify. Next team with the most is IMT, since they got second in Summer, and C9 fell in quarter finals.
It's not a simple 1st, 2nd, 3rd system.
imt is going they auto qualified from championship points since they had the most, the third team is decided by a guantlet made up of the 4 teams with the most points who did not qualify already, c9 at 90 points(tied with imt but since they ranked higher they qualify over them) clg at 80 dig at 30 and flyquest at 30, p1 loses all points since they were relegated.
I'm kinda confused on the whole IMT thing, it's very similar to say C9 back in 2015 spring/summer
Cloud 9 2015 Spring - 2nd place, lost in Finals 2015 Summer - 7th place Had to play in gauntlet
IMT 2017 Spring - 7th place 2017 Summer - 2nd place, lost in Finals Auto qualified
Just another reason on why I personally would like the splits combined, a more simpler Finals winner - 1st Seed, Runner up - 2nd seed, 3rd place winner - 3rd seed. It's bad enough a team could be a$$ 1 split(Spring) have 1 meta shift in their favor and win Summer Finals, 2 weeks before Worlds the meta changes and back to being a$$.( Isn't a diss at IMT ) just never cared for the Summer Finals winner being auto qualified and the point system is just meh to me personally.
Because CLG has lower championship points than IMT. Only thing the 3rd place game was for this year was deciding who would play Flyquest round 1 in the gauntlet
