No matter if you looked at the game or the monitors that showed to players, from the very start of game three you could see in Fnatic: Here we have a team that lost all hope after game 2 and is now only playing game 3 to lose, without hping to win...

Very disapointing. I never was the biggest fan of Fnatic, but as a EU player, I at least expected them to go down with a fight...

They were on TILT like OG. Europeans are know for tilting and NA is known for being bad.

They should have used siege compositions.

Yes, I think this is basically it. KOO felt they could play freely and FNC just didn't feel they could play freely. It just means that KOO was free to make plays in Game 3 and FNC wasn't - entirely from a mental point of view and regardless of draft. It was unfortunate because Game 2 showed that FNC had the potential to win but it seems that FNC took it the opposite way.

I up-voted you only because of the title and the last paragraph of your thread; they are the two points I agree with you upon. As far as your first paragraph goes I disagree given Fnatic ( tagged as "FNC" ) seemed more like a frustrated and desperate team as opposed to a team that was playing to lose. I believe they were playing to win and were so desperate for that win they tried to force plays that realistically had no chance of working and the result was ( as you said ) "painful to watch" and "very disappointing."

If FNC had indeed calmed themselves down before the third game and calmly went about their third game they might of had a decent chance at winning that third game. It would have been difficult and in the end it was still unlikely but a decent chance is better than nothing. Because they were unable to calm themselves and play rationally their third game went much worse than most of us expected. The only positive I got out of this is this: my Pick'em card has the correct two teams in the final and if SKT wins I'll get the second poro icon; sadly I missed my chance to fill a card for the group stages.
