Either H2k or ANX will be left to somehow shut down SSG and then proceed to magically beat the winner of the labeled stronger side of the bracket. I really hope H2k can show some of that Week 2 power and steam roll through worlds 9-0, but that's just me. As long as someone takes down SSG I'll be happy.

I want EU to lose so they don't have any legitimate right to keep using "EU" as a compliment. As it is, with NA and EU both flopping every worlds saying "EU" is like celebrating mediocrity. Let's keep it that way. I wouldn't mind the Wildcard underdog story. China is 4th, they're still Asian so I want them to suck but at least it's better than 5 straight Korea champs.

So missing semifinals only once out of 5 (probably 1 out of 6, and I would add that ANX is a roster that is half-EU as they compete for another region but practice on EU servers so it would be 1,5 out of 6 if ANX wins) at Worlds is celebrating mediocrity? M'Kay
Fransiee1 votesWell. Atleast 1 team will go through to the last 4. So if you look at it that way it's not all that hopeloss lol. But in the end a lot of teams dissappinted, G2 especially and tsm if you compare it to last year.
Juggernaut6281 votesPersonally, I knew G2 would get their asses kicked. Same with Splyce. Same with CLG. I didn't expect ANX to be good enough to get wins though which threw off my pick'em. TSM falling short surprised me, but they would technically be facing SKT if they beat RNG week 1 so it's all the same. C9 being so bad and H2k being so good were the most surprising. I thought C9 would not necessarily stomp their group, but would at least be playing well, but honestly they suck(ed). H2k I expected to get squashed by AHQ and EDG and I was right until they went 4/0 week 2. Now, I just need H2k to keep surprising me.

Juggernaut6281 votesIt was a combination of hating G2 with all my heart and their MSI record for me. TSM sucked last year and were definitely better this year, but they just couldn't beat RNG and it cost them everything.
WoonStruck1 votesAnd this is why everyone hates the TSM tie-breaker ruling. TSM was our only hope in NA, and everyone knows it. They probably wouldn't have won, but they would have at least had a chance at making finals compared to our other western options.
That said, people booing SSG was ridiculously uncalled for.
I'm kinda glad TSM didn't make it through groups because they'll still have the underdog mentality going into next season. If nobody gets discouraged and quits, at the rate they're going, they have a potential to finally win worlds again.
