Hey, everyone! I'm Riot King Cobra and it's time for another round of Patch Chat! These threads serve as opportunity for us to talk about the patches that come out every two weeks. You can find the most recent patch by following this link: Patch 7.17 Notes.

I'm on Riot's Playtest Team, a group of high elo players who play with the new champions, reworks, balance tweaks, items, and map updates before they are released. It's our job to the test the changes that our designers come up with and ensure that we're introducing positive changes to League in terms of both balance and fun. Ask us questions - we'll try to answer as many as we can!

7.17 brings Ornn to the Rift! We also buffed a number of champions including Ezreal, Hecarim, Leona, Urgot, and Zed. Ardent Censer took a hit as well.

Do you think Caitlyn may need some buffs right now? She seems pretty weak atm with a 45% winrate.

What do you guys think of Rumble Rumble after his Q adjust?

Also, any chance we'll ever see a Super Galaxy Rumble Summoner Icon and or Chromas?

Hi guys hope you're doing fine.

I just wondered after seeing last Leona changes, had you ever thought of letting Leona proc her passive on monsters? It would able her to play on another role, would give more game diversity, and even as support, would be able to gain more presence on drake fights.

I don't think it's healthy to let her proc on minions, due to the abuse in laning, specially after the damage buffs on last patch. However, it wouldn't be much abusable on jungle due the reduced timer to proc the passive on the same patch.

I don't play much Leo, but I think her combo pattern would be fun when jungling, and I would be whiling to try it as well. Also she's a beast when teamfighting, which goes along with the current tank jungle meta. Sure it can be a scary option, but I think it's worth of testing on PBE at least. But I don't think her clears would be an overbalance issue due her attack speed growth.

Speaking of attack speed, give Volibear a bit of love until he gets rework. It's sad some champions are let in the dumpster until the rework is completed. Increasing his attack speed to use Frenzy or even reducing it's W a bit would be a nice switch to give some attention at least.

Obviously you guys can't say anything specific but how do you feel about the azir changes being tested? Playing both as him and against him

Apparently Fizz's ultimate doesn't connect to cc immune target since 7.15, while previously it connected, but didn't apply it's cc effects. Is it an intended interaction or a bug? I can't find anything about it in previous patch notes, outside of this "Malzahar’s Passive - Void Shift now correctly blocks Fizz’s R - Chum the Waters". The problem is it's working like this since 7.15. So what is the bug? And what is the fix?

Clarification would be nice, because it sucks to realise in the middle of your games, that something no longer works as it did before.

When you guys playtest stuff, particularly new champions, how much freedom do the other 9 players have in their champion picks/builds?

Is it a kinda do whatever you feel like playing and/or are good at, or are you pushed to try specific match ups, or to play other champs that also have balance changes (be it direct or to their items)?

Has there been any talk about Quinn ? I'm asking because i've been playing her a lot lately ane I don't recall losing lane, ever. Are there any plans on shifting her early power somewhere else?

Why was Draven hit so hard?

His primary playerbase is one-tricks (unless I'm missing something?) and he already becomes pretty/very useless if camped/punished. Why make it even more rewarding to camp and punish him? Doesn't that make the unhealthy feast/famine even worse?

Any context at all would be greatly appreciated.

Do you still think aatrox is in no need of buffs? Did he really need a nerf last patch, regardless of how large?

I find it interesting how some of the newer/reworked tanks have damage abilities that scale off Armour and Mr, do you think this will become a more prominent feature in future tank updates/reworks? Also what direction do you plan on taking Malphite with his future updates or reworks? I am curious how you'd incorporate his champion design into his kit. I personally hope future design plans lean more towards a landslide than a mountainside.

Hey playtesters, with Ornn out can ya recommend any builds, Runes and masteries? Also how do you guys think how Enchanters will fair with the Ardent nerf and lastly for those of you who have seen him, what's Riot Statikk's kpop dance like

Any thoughts about upcoming Rengar changes ? Riot Phroxz0n commented on /r/leagueoflegends that Rengar will be adressed next patch, if he will, what part of his kit would you be looking at ?

Can you give some thoughts about current Poppy state? Saw her in some pro plays, and I have feeling that they picks Poppy only for her ult in team fights. She just looks weak and unreliable at line phase and mid game.
