If i'm in the Gameplay section of the boards and i click "Create a Discussion", the page it takes me to is locked into Gameplay with no way to change it beyond going back to the Boards Homepage

this is just a dumb useless idea to save someone an extra click or two of annoyance lol

ok , but the OP is asking why make it locked to that board ? why not let them chose a board like you do when you are boards home? that it would be a QOL change to the boards and most likely reduced the amount of people reporting wrong board selections and reduce work for you and fellow mods to delete or move them.

I'll ask around. My guess is that the list format that selects boards is locked to the highest board on the list currently, so this could actually result in MORE incorrect posts, but I'll check in with our tech guys and see whether or not this is something they want to explore.
