To be more specific, you could replace ARAM with Bronze or Silver, and you are then insulting the person's rank.

In order to make the Boards community as inclusive as possible, we do not tolerate rank shaming on the Boards. There are players of different ranks and experience on the Boards, but that should not invalidate their opinion as a League of Legends player.

Say what? LOL. The conversation wasn't even about ARAM I don't think ARAM was mentioned anywhere in the entire thread. It was about season 8 burst damage.

The little preview on the removal doesn't, unfortunately, always show the entire post. In this case it omitted a key line:

Honestly ARAM accounts shouldn't be allowed to even post.

Ahhh ok gotcha. That post was from a week ago so I was confused as heck.

As a heads up I wasn't saying "ARAM" players shouldn't be allowed to post. I was saying people posting on their alt ARAM accounts to avoid people knowing who they are, or responding to their own comments was/is an issue.

And that's still not really okay. If someone wants to post from an account, they're entitled to do so provided they were not banned on another account for one of the behaviors so egregious that we'd prefer they stop using the boards entirely.

Also, that message REALLY didn't come through clearly either way. Just something to keep in mind.

Well I was disagreeing with the fact that people doing so is ok. I still do.

I realize Riot hates people having opinions that differ to theirs though. Frankly it makes the boards rather pointless at times.

It's not that Riot hates people having different opinions, but rather some people don't seem to understand how to phrase their opinions in a way that doesn't come across as insulting or harassing.

Frankly sounds like a good example of what is wrong with the world.

People are a hell of a lot more worried about HOW people say things than WHAT they say.

Everyone wants to be offended and no one just listens.

While I agree that some people just want to be offended for attention, there is something to be said about not going out of your way to insult others. For example:

"I feel like Ziggs should receive some buffs to his E to make it feel more impactful as well as register it activating better than it does right now" is fine. "Stupid Riot morons, fix Ziggs' E and make it better to make it register activating better right now!" is not fine.

Again I do agree that some people who claim they're offended aren't actually offended and are only saying so for attention, but you can get your point across without resorting to insults and name-calling right off the bat.
