I like the new updated Boards Universal Rules.

So recently I went on a spree of suspensions on the boards, getting two 3-day suspensions within the same week.

Whilst I won't try to justify my actions in any sort of way, I do believe that in atleast one of the instances, I don't feel like the Boards Universal Rules was fleshed out enough in terms of what is "good" and what is "bad".

I like it when things are concrete and precise and I feel like the updated BUR is just that. Having several new categories specifying exactly what is and what isn't allowed on the Boards. It's design is also smooth and streamlined and I find it easy to navigate around in the different tabs.

So to whatever moderator(s) that made it, nice work.

Upvotes and downvotes are intrinsically tied to how threads and comments are perceived. It’s easy to simply downvote something you disagree with, and upvote things that support your views. We can do better. Consider upvoting thoughtful discussions and comments, even if they disagree with your perception of things. The more valuable conversation we have on the boards and the more that conversation is recognized as a good contribution to the community, the better everyone’s board experience will be.

I like that part. I wonder if there is any metric for determining it's effectiveness?

I think its great we finally have rules set in stone about elo shaming.

It got kindof very annoying to see stuff like:

Poster: CHAMPION X IS SO WEAK AND NEEDS BUFFS!!!!!11111 or CHAMPION X IS BUSTED AND NEEDS TO BE REMOVED!!!!!1111

Commentor: Well thought out response of why champion X is not as weak/strong as the person though

Poster: You're in X devision and Im higher then that so your response is invalid.
