Politics may be prohibited on the boards, but what about history?

Just asking because I am insanely curious as to how far I can stretch the loopholes. What if Anyone would, for whatever reason, open up a discussion in GD regarding history, such as the ancient chinese dynasties, the colonies etc. Would those be prohibited too? Because based on the Boards' guidelines, mainly forbidden are topics that can, and likely will, invoke controvertial out of control argumentating, but has been specified to be politics, religion, race and sex. So is History included under politics or have i just broken the system and found a loophole (Until it gets publicly forbidden)?

I would personally not make a habit of trying to stretch loopholes, because moderation is intentionally left slightly fluid to prevent this behavior (see things like the Golden Rule rather than a hard list of things you can't say).

If you end up digging into the political or social issues of that time, it is possible we would take action, yes. If for some reason you decide that this board is the best place to discuss your love of Ancient Egyptian architecture and ruminate on how the pyramids were likely built, I won't stop you unless -- again -- that ends up digging into the types of political/social discussion that are prohibited on the boards.

Well there is no implicit explanation which topics are or not allowed in off-topic section. However if you wanna discuss some historical topic which would tilt people (Jugoslavia war for example) mods will delete it.However I do not understand why they delete others political post eventhough they are discussed in polite manner.
