I still think it is important to try and explain things to people, but remember that some people just won't understand because they don't share your perspective.
That also doesn't mean that you ( or I ) can't be wrong.

This is actually exactly my point. You can't assume that something that is obvious to you is obvious to someone else.

Like if I accurately predict the weather for a month straight and it varies widely from say light rain, thunderstorm, hurricane, snow, clear sky, hot, cold, etc. you might think to trust me if I tell you it is going to be sunny tomorrow. We've got people ranked higher than bronze that play with the intelligence level that is honestly equivalent to someone putting their hand on a hot stove KNOWINGLY over and over and over and over again half a dozen times at least and then each time acting surprised when their hand gets burned. And to make it better still, they blame and yell at the person who told them EVERY SINGLE TIME... "don't touch that burner, it's hot.".
Like I get and agree people have a harder and harder time these days understanding things from other people's perspectives. But at some point the line has to be drawn. You need to stop making excuses for them being THAT oblivious. Anyways, before this turns into a page long rant, I'm going to stop now... as the discussions around your post has strayed from it's original and admirable purpose.
