It's because you're breaking the format by spacing it out.
If you do this:
- I dislike Annie.

- I like Ivern.

You're breaking the format by spacing everything out. However, if you don't space it out, you get this:

A proper listing.
If you want to make an incredibly detailed post with tons of data or spaced lines, use an alternative symbol like em dashes or hyphens.

I don't think she should be able to hold her stun indefinitely. Also, bears are scary IRL so Volibear and Tibbers should be reworked.
2 - I like Ivern.
The format works when you use it correctly, not when you break it apart and rearrange it. The list function is supposed to be for quick and non-spaced paragraphs.

Lists are meant to be short and to the point, not multiple incredibly detailed paragraphs. I can understand it as a QOL thing I guess but it works both functionally and logically.

I just checked out that comment and it's because you put a double space inbetween the numbers.
If you do this:

Test
It will show up as a new list because you're breaking the format of a list. Follow the format correctly and you get:
(no spaces)
- Test
- Test
Alternatively, use a different method like hyphens or em dashes and you can use whatever style you want.

It's not that hard to get around the formatting of a list.

Yes, it is an opinion, because you're in the minority here. Very few people actually complain about the technical side of the forums aside from the most glaring issue of moderators not being able to move posts.

Nothing is forcing you to do anything, the format is clearly laid out for you and you're breaking it, then complaining when it doesn't work.
That's like complaining that a mathematical equation doesn't work after you do it backwards. The format is there, you're not following the rules for it to work. The fault does not lie with the format.

An opinion, hm. Theres a lot wrong with the fourm, like searches not working, randomly losing ability too upvote or downvote and posts being in nonsensical order, just off the top of my head. I'm not that passionate about it but, I have too counter this nonsense.

It's more like complaining autocorrect corrected something for no reason. The fault cleary does lie with the format, there is no reason i cant put a space between things in a list, nor a reason you cant elaborate on a list like

If you're going to number a subset, then restart the number sequence .. you should have a new heading to describe the new set.

I just typed those numbers in the op too show that the forum changes your numbers, I had it mess me up in different ways but I cant remember how off hand and don't want too look through all my posting history.
ModPrandine1 votesDefinitely understand your frustration on that part. I'm no boards developer but I've found that the issue seems to commonly stem from using a period at the end of a number, while no issue comes up when using a parenthesis after it. For example:
It's more time consuming and tedious definitely but it's something I've found to work consistently.
