Everyone has the same bloody icon until they get the reward they want. The boards are the one place you can show off your icons (unless you are a fek-up) and seeing everyone have the same icon makes me wish whatever event was over already.
Yea forcing people to use the teending event makes non event icons worth less. Really the only icons i really liked were the worlds ones and thats just because they put the team letters in front of your name.
Yeah I was thinking the whole icon thing is dumb. I have actually spent money on a few icons (because I am an idiot and love to spend money) and now to do missions I have to use whatever new ugly icon they want you to equip.
Also the fact that 7 out of 10 missions are limited to Summoner's Rift (which I rarely feel like playing) makes me feel like missions (just like leveling and Blue Essence) are another thing that Riot missed the mark on.
