DO we have PlayerMods or GameMods that play ranked, write detailed reports, and ban trolls??

This is something that is healthy in every community. Think of it like a cop, a bunch of undercover cops.. Basically a huge team of volunteers or a staff that plays ranked games and writes up detailed reports on which part of the UNIVERSAL RULES was broken, and Actions recommended. They should have the power to chat restrict and give competitive cooldowns, but Player bans should be left to a riot staff official. Something like this would be a good way to keep rank stricter than normal games.

I have seen (GM)'s in almost every other game except for League of Legends. Sometimes in open world MMORPG's I will see them just walking around like police. In other matchmade games, I will even sometimes get them on my team, or see them on the enemy team.

How come this is not the case with league? Where are all the youtube clips Player Mods ranking, and trolls purposely trolling a riot staff? i would watch that lol

No. The most anyone can do is submit a ticket.

Oh, you can get Rioters in your games. And people have.

However, most people - including the toxic jerks - probably don't troll or break the summoners code around them, just in case they're on the player behavior team. Otherwise, they may end up getting manually reviewed and punished. And they wouldn't want that.

That or they're playing on their non-Riot account/don't have Riot in their name.

yeah, I want some more manual review and punishment. Maybe we can have an open Tribunal where we can SUBMIT PLAYER MADE REPORTS, that follows a report template of some sort. The ingame report just lacks way too much information to be taken seriously.

A lot of the community is frustrated, but I believe we can make it a better place

There is a difference between a MMORPG and a MOBA. MOBAs are not a conducive environment for PMs/GMs/whatever you want to call them (I’ll call them “mods” from here on out). Where in a MMORPG a mod can monitor 100s of players at once, as well as being relatively hidden, a MOBA would only allow someone to monitor games they themselves play in - which would mean probably not even 100 players per day. It does not make sense to give some players the right and responsibility to punish others unilaterally when Riot already has systems in place to detect and punish trolls fairly and without bias or favoritism.

Riot employees do play on and off their Red status accounts, sometimes to see new game modes and other such things. I'm sure they have no more power to in force rules in game, they use the report system like we do.

It's been a long time since I read a post about that so I can't link it sorry.
