Laughing Fish - Holds grudges, abuses power, spiteful and immature.
I've become convinced that Laughing Fish constantly abuses his power by targeting specific players that he holds grudges against or by shutting down discussions that he disagrees with. I suspect he literally ghosts certain posters that he dislikes just so that he can pick on them.
Look at this example where Laughing Fish deleted my post and sent me a warning:
Your comment was deleted for harassment. If you dislike someone's comments, you are welcome to disagree with them or downvote them. However, please refrain from public harassment of any poster, no matter how unreasonable you think they are. Please note that repeated violations of this manner may result in disciplinary action against your account.
#I love AirKingNeo. He inspires me by showing how much further I could improve my downvote farming game.

I sincerely meant that I actually do like AirKingNeo because he does farm downvotes and doesn't seem to care. This guy says what he wants, knowing that his opinions are unpopular, and he doesn't get phased by the downvotes he attracts. I also like to play devil's advocate sometimes, so I can respect that. I don't think the boards should be an echo chamber, so I like the people who have the bravery to present opposing opinions. I don't necessarily agree with AirKingNeo's opinions, and I think he likely doesn't even sincerely mean everything he says. I really think he also likes to farm downvotes by being devil's advocate, and I respect that he keeps offering unpopular opinions despite getting negative feedback.
But along comes Laughing Fish, who still has a grudge from the last time that I pointed out how he subjectively and unfairly enforces rules to shut down discussions, and he accuses me of harassment here. He deleted my post, which was literally just what is in the quote above, and sent another warning even though he left many posts from other players that contained actual flaming and cursing on that thread. I understand that Laughing Fish is a popular guy, and I don't have a problem with him as a person (beyond his close-mindedness), but does he really have the maturity to separate his personal feelings and opinions to moderate objectively and fairly?
For context, his grudge against me began when he took offense to some posts of mine where I was arguing that "GG EZ" should not be punishable. My argument was that it was playful banter and that the community in general is hypersensitive and too easily offended. So yeah, fair enough he can disagree with me, and there was some gray area over some other material (specifically a reference to a "short bus") in my post being offensive. The issue was that he also over-zealously deleted every other person's posts who were arguing on the side of "GG EZ" not being punishment worthy, so he essentially shut down an entire side of a valid argument. I made a post on this board questioning Laughing Fish's ability to moderate, knowing that Laughing Fish would find the thread, because I wanted him to think about what he was doing. And that's what I am doing again here.
Laughing Fish, you're still being immature and letting your personal biases and grudges interfere with your judgment. You can't let your bias on a topic or your opinion of a person cause you to enforce rules subjectively. I know you take a lot of self worth from your boards persona, so you are probably personally hurt when people call you out to get you to reflect on your actions. But you can't choose to enforce rules more frequently or harshly on specific people just because of your vendettas. You need to understand what devil's advocate is and why it's a necessary for some people to fill that role in a community like the boards. You shouldn't be trying to enforce circle-jerk discussions that you personally agree with, while hounding specific people who have had run-ins with you...
