@Periscope No really, you're going to have to explain this. This is just ridiculous.

Hey Unward49,

We've recently removed your post for violating the Boards Universal Rules, particularly regarding inappropriate discussions.

Your removed content:

> What part of grabbing another guys balls is "gamer culture"?

One person's actions does not a culture make. Every group has it's crazies. You can have an individual take responsibility for inappropriate conduct without it being a systemic cultural problem.

I'll give you an example. [...]

As per the Boards Universal Rules, we do not tolerate posts that discuss:

Religion Sex Politics Any social issues, though some exceptions may be appropriate While we understand that players may be passionate about certain topics, the topics listed are problematic on the Boards because they generally end up derailing, leading to arguments and insults.

I'd like to emphasize that this is not a warning; however, please take some time to familiarize yourself with the Boards Universal Rules, as well as the guidelines for any sub-board you intend to post in before you do so.

If you have any questions about this moderation action, don't hesitate to reach out to the Boards Moderation Team via:

So let me get this straight.

I'm not even allowed to quote another person's words if those words might be against board policy. You can't simply change them in the reply, you have to actually just remove my entire post?

We were NOT discussing general social issues, we were specifically discussing Riot's policies and how they impact the game at large. Now, if your assertion is that we aren't allowed to talk about Riot's decisions vis-a-vis their policies AT ALL, then what, precisely is the point of having a general discussion board.

No really.

Explain it to me.

I want it straight from the mouth of the beast.

Why aren't I allowed to talk about Riot's policies? That's not a political issue. Or is it? If Riot's policies ARE political, then what does that say about Riot's policies and why are THEY engaging in politics when we are not allowed to talk about it?

Apologies. I removed your comment specifically for the political reference. That was left out of the quoted part of your comment. The political reference was not previously mentioned in the thread.

The thread of Riot's Policies are still up. The post about Trump got deleted.
