@Riot, you have a big problem with censorship on your boards

This has become obvious.

I have been attempting over the past several days to bring to your attention a problem and it is a problem which to one extent or another is intractably connected to a certain political ideology.

This thread isn't about that problem however, it is about the fact that your board rules can be applied so generally to almost any subject that there may as well not be any rules. I have been habitually silenced and prevented from discussing this issue and this is a problem, not for me, but for YOU.

Because let's say that I'm a completely unreasonable person, unable to convince anyone of what I'm saying. How do you lose by letting me dig myself an ever deeper hole into my own ridiculousness? Are you losing money on the bandwidth my posts are taking up? I don't think so.

If however, I have a legitimate point, then my bringing it to your attention is in your best interest. I'm not saying the boards need to go un-moderated, but what I am saying is that when your rules concerning the board make it impossible to name the president of the united states by name because it MIGHT devolve into something political, then you create a situation where people are not actually allowed to say anything at all.

This doesn't mean you wont still have to deal with crazy people, but it DOES mean that when someone has a good point that you might want to hear, you won't hear it. Not here. And if you aren't interested in hearing the true opinions of your community what, I ask you, is the point of you wasting money on maintaining this forum?

How do you lose by letting me dig myself an ever deeper hole into my own ridiculousness?

Because we have rules against politics, social issues, and spam, and your threads slam up against all three. These are not rules we instituted out of random desire to suppress opinions, but rather rules instituted because of the incredibly reliable trend of threads on these topics spiraling out of control, stirring up aggression and resentment in the community and increasing the burden of moderation. It is far easier -- and far better for the majority of the board community -- to encourage people to seek other venues for this sort of conversation. The League board is not your one-stop-shop for every topic, nor, in my mind, should it be.

We have relaxed these rules on occasion and, every time we do, we see a marked uptick in the number of normally-well-behaved posters who require actions against them, and a marked downturn in the friendliness and approachability of the community. We still do relax the rules on occasion to discuss topics that are important, but that is not something that extends forever, and it the rules are relaxed, not removed.

If your posts were significantly less frequent, showed a decreased tendency to devolve into social/political issues aside from your specific concern with Riot, and showed an increased willingness to acknowledge that -- just maybe -- your view might not be the only logical viewpoint and that your prediction of the future might not be the only outcome, we probably wouldn't be having this conversation.

As it is you are spamming the boards with repeated inflammatory content, violating the warnings you have had against spam, and generally demanding that people accept nothing less than full agreement that Riot is on a path to self destruction due to their policies, that can ONLY result in the outcome you have predicted. If it had been just once, it would probably have slid by. Twice, and it might have slid by with a warning. Nine threads over two days is not okay.

This is you from one of your threads. A thread that was left up largely unmoderated, by the way.

I can see how it forwards a pernicious political ideology and I can see how it constitutes yet another battle in the war on men in the workplace and I can see how it will inevitably lead to the utter collapse of Riot and, given enough time and no resistance, the fall of western civilization

While "how will Riot's desires to have a more diverse workforce and a workplace generally free from harassment affect the game and my experience?" is an interesting discussion to have, your predicate - the idea that liberalism is literally the worst thing ever - makes it impossible to have that conversation. You may not have expressed your position this clearly elsewhere, but it comes through nonetheless. It would be like me saying, "the endgame of social conservatism is always authoritarianism and sociopathy where the powerful do whatever they like to everyone else, bounded only by their strength." The moment I posted those words, there would be a clamor for their removal and rightfully so.

What you are doing goes beyond the realms of rhetoric and debate into proselytization by harangue and, frankly, it's exactly the sort of thing that necessitates the "NO POLITICS/SOCIAL" rule in the first place. If you can't argue with integrity, then the Boards are not for you.

If you can't say TRUMP you can't say anything? lol Maybe they've heard what you had to say and they just don't give AF about your views on their policies. I know I don't! You haven't been censored or "silenced" as you said, I've seen several of your posts and the messages from the Mods. IMO they were right. But again, I don't care. And why do you keep posting the same message all the time? Are you waiting for an answer? For someone from Riot to tell you"oh gosh you're right I'm going to report this to my boss right away!". I just don't get what you're looking for...
