How does reporting a post on the Boards work? (mainly questions for the Moderators)

Is there some sort of "digital post office" where all of the reports are dropped off?

Do the Mods get a notification every time a post has been reported?

Is there some sort of sticker on a post telling if it has been reported or not? Does it say how many have reported it, and for what reason(s)?

Are reports anonymous? Does it say who has reported what at exactly what point in time?

Do some reports have higher priority than others? Will posts reported for "Harassment" be resolved faster than posts reported for "Other"?

Is excessive use of the reporting tool punishable in and of itself? Will an account face penalties if all it does is report other peoples' content?

I’ll do my best to sift through your questions and answer to the extent that I am allowed to do so:

There is an area where Moderators are able to review all active reports. Moderators don’t get a notification each time a thread is reported anymore, as it was simply not manageable.

Your sticker question gave me some ideas- won’t be able to discuss specifics.

Most moderators will not be able to identify who reported what and when.

How moderators prioritize reports is at their discretion- I’ll try to hit obvious harassment or incorrect board posts, as they’re easier and require less investigation; others may approach reports differently.
