@Scruffy and Morello ways the new Darius ultimate could potentially scale and work.
If you don't already know, Darius is getting a rework and will be a better duelist and have to build more tanky, stats and skills scalings will be changed accordingly.
Now Darius is for sure going to be having more than 5 stacks, around 7-10 stacks with his rework. I have an idea on how Darius's ult could work and scale so that he isn't too toxic and anti-fun(hence why his old ult resets were removed).
How his new ult could be at 10 stacks
For this model I will be sort of going off what Morello said in that 7 stacks would do similar damage and 10 stacks will do a ton of damage(sort of).
Darius leaps to target champion dealing 50/75/100(+5%Total AD) true damage to champion. At 1 stack he will do the same as his base damage. For every stack on enemy champion, he will do an additional 50/75/100 (+5% Total AD) true damage capping at 500/750/1000(+50% total AD) True damage.
On live he will do 320 damage max with no bonus AD true damage at 5 stacks. In this model, at 7 stacks he will do 350+35% total AD to an enemy champion. This may seem big but this is how it could work with 10 stacks. This model is basically saying this: If you fight Darius in a prolonged fight and have more than 7 stacks on you, you deserve to get dunked.
Now another idea a friend of mine named bloody7 came up with is since Darius could completely shut down a lane opponent with his refresh is give him a Yasuo type treatment. What I mean by that is if Darius kills somebody with his ult, the cool down is fully refreshed but he can't cast his ult on the enemy he killed with it for 120/100/80 seconds, cdr will affect how long he will have to wait.
This won't touch lane Darius but it will be a tremendous buff to jungle Darius seeing as he can now gank all lanes with a refreshed ult(if he does decide to kill somebody with it in a gank).
So the main thing I wish to ask Scruffy, Morello, and everybody else who is working on the Darius rework is if these kind of ideas are where you're headed and why or why not you could/couldn't do this.
Thanks for reading this everybody who spent time to, I really appreciate it.
