Champion Skin Icons

What if champion skins came with a Summoner's Icon, or changed your in-game champion's icon like Spirit Guard Udyr? There would be an option to disable Champion Skin Icons (disabled by default), but if you feel familiar enough with certain champions and their skins, you would have the option to enable it.

I'd be all aboard for it. It would make skins just a little bit more valuable to me. And from what I've heard, a set of Summoner Icons that reflect life time RP purchases may be in our future.

You mean like every skin having its own summoner icon? I think they want to keep that exclusive to ultimate skins to make them more worth the RP you spent on it.

Maybe not Summoner Icons, but the option of switching your in-game icon on the mini-map or character portrait to your equipped skin. But your logic applies to that as well. But from what I've heard, a set of Summoner Icons that reflect life time RP purchases may be in our future.

The reason this isn't a thing is Clarity

You look at the mini map and go 'who the F is that?' is not a good thing if you want to know who is top and who is missing. The Minimap icons will never change, baring complete changes to the splash (like the recent caitlyn) because of Clarity of Information

If they were different every game it would become to confusing.
