Critical Champion Select Bug

Scenario: Our team had last ban. The enemy team banned a champion, and in almost unison the 3rd ban of Amumu went off. The two bans were almost right on top of each other.

The many bugs that happened after that as champion select phase began:

  • Some of the champion tiles became blank, with no champion filling them

  • Other champion tiles became doubled (if you look closely you can see faded images of champions over each other)

  • I could also not even scroll to the bottom of the champion list anymore

This bug with the client meant I could only actually select a few of the champions I have unlocked. One other person in the pre-game chat confirmed that he was experiencing the same bug.

I've seen this too, but I didn't manage to connect it with a cause. Maybe try to reproduce and see if searching a champion will fix it?

The only thing irregular I could see is that the last two bans happened extremely close to each other. That is my only guess as to what caused the champion tiling to mess up so badly.

I did not think of trying to use search to refresh the window... I seriously wish I had, because this ended up screwing my ranked pick quite handily.
