Why was Trundle doing True Damage?

In every death recap, the highest damage coming from the enemy Trundle was basic attacks, yet the damage was labeled as true damage. He has none on his kit if I'm not mistaken, so where did it come from? Is this a visual bug or an actual gameplay bug?

The stats show that he did 1.5k True Damage. I died to him 4-ish times, each one has about 300 true damage even at his first item, Tiamat. He got more kills than just on me, so I think the final number is a bit off but that's beside the point. Am I missing something?

Did he have red buff? Does true damage, I think.

His Pillar does 1 true damage, if you get displaced by it (This is so it shifts tower aggro), but I doubt that had much to do with it.

it's possible there's a bug with Tiamat. The active on Ravenous Hydra used to be true damage.

it could also be the damage from chilling smite or challenging smite, since both of those are true damage.

Death Recap is super bugged, revive used to show up as true damage, when no one in the game had revive
