No idea why, but it can be a game changer in games that mean the difference from maximum stacks on maximum champs and only half receiving the stacks.
I could never tell in game because I have always attributed things like this to me not hitting blade because of the width nerf from forever ago, but for all I know I could've been hitting the blade but the game isnt awarding me. I've had some times where I was like "WTF I definitely hit that guy with the blade"
