Well I've lost not only myself and others LP

For seemingly no reason, the game launches like normal, but it remains a black screen and never lets me connect. Like any smart person would I eventually restart the client to no avail, repeatedly mind you. Nothing seems to fix it, and it only results in me losing a game and losing LP unnecessarily.

I would like the LP refunded for my teammates at the very least and ideally a loss forgiveness for myself. The error it gave me "once" for the several attempts I made to connect made literally no sense.

There are so many other errors I've had in the past, and they really need to be worked out. I can only hope that the new client will actually fix these bugs.

Checked my drivers, and they are up to date with the latest stable driver.

Uninstall Reinstall That fixes 90% of the problems if not working still go to here https://support.riotgames.com/hc/en-us The support team is really good at responding to players Last time i had problems i got help within a hour

Did it work?! If you are a Mac user, then i am afraid it will be hard to fix.

However, for Windows, i think either a reinstall should work or select repair in the settings of the client. I had faced a similar problem, i did get the black screen but i didn't get any error message. I simply restarted my PC, and on launching the client, it started downloading and applying the patch 6.8 all over again. It worked.

I think the patch 6.8 is either not completely being downloaded or is just not being applied, due to which the client is crashing after Champ Select.

But nowwww, after Riot ran the maintenance, my client is simply disconnecting from the server altogether.

I just hope they fix these underlying issues as soon as they can.

Even if the uninstall thing works you should still contact support maybe you might get compensation for the loss and potentially your team if you explain whats going on

I understand why your upset because you worked hard for the LP and because of the bug you didn't even get a chance to defend it

Hopefully riot will give mercy to you and refund LP

Let me fix this statement for you. Go to the terribly designed support website.. Submit a Ticket, of which you will become even more confused at finding out which category to choose, finally after that, write a paragraph of text pouring your heart out as to why you deserve your Loss Prevented and/or getting LP back. Finally after about a few days, up to 2 weeks, get a statement from Riot saying, Buy More RP for Hextech Crafting, or sorry, this game happened long ago, we were unable to apply your LP. Or my favorite response from any game company... and they always do this to someone at least once in their lifetime... inhales SORRY, WE ARE UNABLE TO GIVE LP BACK DUE TO THIS BEING A NON PHYSICAL POINT SYSTEM OR RP. WE ARE SORRY FOR THE INCONVENIENCE THIS ERROR HAS PLACED UPON YOU AND WE WISH YOU THE BEST OF LUCK.

P.S. I forgot to mention that after going to their website, ready to write a ticket, they actually take your question and put it in a Knowledge Base that has clearly NEVER been updated, or if it has, it is just so awful.
