Kivolan1 votesI imagine the same thing would happen with regular turrets if they had more health. Turrets one shot them, though, and they will then switch targets properly.
Ult turret can take several shots, however, and your turret will prioritize killing it once it has been targeted instead of properly switching to Heimerdinger when he does damage.
GaleWinUnleashed1 votesTry having a champion other than Heimerdinger attempt to take aggro after his ult turret is targeted. It's possible that the ult turret is treated as Heimerdinger himself for some reason.

Would need to do more testing to be sure but I don't believe their Jungler was taking aggro off the Heimerdinger turret either.
