gp oranges are basically a qss. some cc like knock ups and knock backs cannot be stopped by anything

Yes, it does say that. However, knock ups are a special kind of CC in that their duration isn't reduced by Tenacity nor can they be removed at all, not by Cleanse, QSS, Oranges, or anything else.
