Leblanc has a faulty clone

So, I was playing in 1 for all and was looking at the enemy team and noticed that none of the enemy Leblancs' clones had items. I got one of the members of my team to jump into a custom with me and had me tank the turret until my passive proced and again, no items. We did this probably 6 times and the clone never had items, but the real Leblanc did. The clone also had less AP as well. I'd post pictures of it, but I don't know how QQ
