Getting Blocked in Message

I hate it! I absolutely hate it! While on my trusty legacy client, I was spamming my AFK friend in our private chat to get on. Then I clicked on our party chat to talk, however couldn't send messages because I was blocked. I have not spammed in the party chat, but I did on one of my friend's chat, so therefore the client blocks me on the party? Please fix this, I do not want to wait when wanting to deliver a message.
