I have not tried uninstalling and reinstalling. That takes a long time and I don't want to try it if I don't have to.
i had this issue the other day, try opening the league client as "administrator " i did that and it corrected the issue
What MrFawknSunshine said is the usual fix for Pvp.patcher kernel error. If this does not help you can try running it with the lol.launcher.admin instead (found in the very top of the League folder) or running in compatibility mode. If not, post on the Help & Support board for more assistance.
