Champion kit #19, a castled Vanguard

Hello you people, I'm FúrinKazan and, although a level 10 account, I'm actually close to 400 in the BR server. I recently tried to reach out to Riot about my projects for League of Legends, but unfortunately they only deal with graduated people.

Anyway, the projects I made for the game have no use anymore so I decided to publish them all. They are champion kits, counting up to 120 with unique abilities, defined classes, gameplay and numbers for those who like. The idea is to publish one champion per day until April. I also have some champion updades and they might show up sometimes.

I see a lot of good and creative kit concepts and reworks everywhere on the internet. However, if its gameplay is not coherent, it's not a champion. If numbers are not right, it won't work. Riot abandons a lot of cool fantasies because they end up failing at executon, so I bring you the abilities instead, for people to imagine a theme as they want. Here we go (leave a comment and take a look at my older posts!):

  • Ujimasa Hōjō (names are merely for inspiration and representation)
  • Vanguard core traits: high crowd control, high durability, powerful initiator, poor combat

Passive: Son of Odawara: Upon entering combat with an enemy champion, Ujimasa castles himself, receiving a shield equal to 30% of his Maximum Health and additional Armor and Magic Resistance, but reduces his own Movement Speed by 120. The bonuses have no time limit and remain while the shield lasts. The Cooldown begins once the bonuses are activated and the effect ceases after a few seconds out of combat with enemy champions, besides also being interrupted when Ujimasa is under crowd controls that prevents movement.

The effect may be activated even while on Cooldown, bringing back all the remaining shield value from previous activations (no longer happens when value reaches 0), in addition to all the value accumulated by the Ultimate's passive effect.

-Additional Armor: 15/20/25/30 (+ 30% of Bonus Armor) -Additional Magic Resistance: 10/15/20/25 (+ 25% of Bonus Magic Resistance) -Cooldown: 90/80/70/60 seconds

Values at levels 1/6/11/16.


1st Skill: Ujimasa emits a wave of impact that hits all enemis within an arc in front of himself, dealing damage and pushing them back. Also interrupts movimentation effects.

If the wave enters contact with a 2nd Skill's gate, the latter will be destroyed, expanding the area of effect to a conical area behind the gate and pushing enemies** back** for a larger distance.

-Damage: 60/110/160/210/260 (+ 60% AP) as Magic Damage -CD: 12/11/10/9/8 seconds


2nd Skill: After a brief delay, brings down a very resistant gate in front of Ujimasa, towards the selected direction. Enemies near to the area of impact take damage and are stunned for 1.5 seconds. The gate remains in place for up to 6 seconds or until it is destroyed.

When Ujimasa positions himself behind the gate (and close to it), the incoming damage from the opposite direction is reduced by a percentage. The gate can also be targeted by Ujimasa's basic attacks, causing them to deal modified damage and slow by 30% for 1 second enemies within a conical area behind the gate (applies on-hit effects to the first enemy hit, prioritizing enemy champions).

The gate has 10 Health, blocking 4 damage from melee basic attacks and 3 from ranged ones.

-Damage: 40/80/120/160/200 (+ 40% AP) as Magic Damage -Damage reduction: 29/33/37/41/45% -Modified damage: 20/40/60/80/100 (+ 60/70/80/90/100% AD)(+ 3.5% of Ujimasa's Maximum Health) as Physical Damage -CD: 22/21/20/19/18 seconds (begins on use)


3rd Skill: After readying himself, Ujimasa advances towards the selected direction and carries with him the first enemy hit, pushing it back. Then, with a heavy movement, Ujimasa flings the enemy over himself, knocking it up and placing it close to himself, in the opposite direction he advanced.

The enemy smashes the ground upon landing, dealing damage to himself and to nearby enemies.

-Damage: 80/130/180/230/280 (+ 80% AP) as Magic Damage -CD: 16/15.5/15/14.5/14 seconds


Ultimate: Passive: Hōjō storehouses: Every few seconds, Ujimasa restores** 12%** of his missing Health and 15% of his Passive's shield value.

Active: Ujimasa selects a position within a large range and then a direction in which a large barricade will be built progressively over 3 seconds. The barricade displays itself in an arc (centered at Ujimasa) and, the farther it is from him, the larger its length.

From the moment it's placed, the barricade becomes impassable and any enemy to enter contact with it takes damage, besides being pushed back (cannot happen more than once within 2 seconds). After a few seconds or upon deactivation, the barricade is destroyed.

-Interval between restorations: 20/14/8 seconds -Damage: 200/275/350 (+ 70% AP) as Magic Damage -Maximum duration: 4/5/6 seconds -CD: 160/140/120 seconds
