Quinn E bug - fully reproducable.

EDIT: Because someone said this, none of these are my videos, I just took them from other people. Quinn's E will occasionally bug out weirdly and throw her in random directions. Video full of examples: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9lYfo0s4e0o

  • If it bugs out, Quinn will always vault to the right from her perspective of the angle she comes in.

  • Quinn's vault will glitch if she follows a dash which causes Quinn to "curve" during her ult, under certain conditions.

  • Quinn's vault will glitch if she follows a dash which is significantly longer than her vault range. This was primarily tested with Tristana.

  • Quinn's vault will always glitch in the following reproducable scenario: http://imgur.com/AVF6SS3 The terrain needs to be significantly thick for this to work. The reason this works is due to the terrain extending the dash distance, ex. Ezreal E.

  • A 100% reproducable scenario is if Quinn stands at a 90 degree angle to the jump direction of Tristana, and Tristana completes her jump at max range (isn't interrupted). If the jump is interrupted, it won't glitch.

We were unable to find explanations for some of the wonky parts in the video, but this bug covers many of them. Flash is also weird with vault, but we couldn't test due to flash's longass cd (sandbox pls).

Other notable Quinn bugs:

Pls fix our bird. Quinn

Vault causing Quinn to curve mid-dash against a dashing enemy is simply because she follows the target, much like Lee Sin's Q2. In normal circumstances, she dashes so quickly that she backflips in the same direction she started from, but having a target abruptly change position before she reaches them can mess up her landing angle, hence the bug.

The Harrier bug you listed is likely more of a visual one, as the proc is counted as an attack modifier rather than on-hit effect. Her passive CD lowering and W passive buff, on the other hand, are on-hit effects that result from this attack. This leads to weird cases like attacking a marked minion for the AS boost, only to spam the same noisy attack animation (with no bonus damage) to whittle down an inhibitor or nexus.

As for the Blind bugs, that's just a result of different attack modifiers and on-hit abilities like Ezreal's Q responding differently to different attack denials, those being Pantheon's passive, Jax's E, and the Blind CC effect. There's no clear-cut rules as to what works against these and what doesn't, but Jax's W and Vayne's Q, as you listed, both ignore Blind. It's worth noting that Blinded attacks will only miss if your attack frames reach the "damage point" (either when a projectile is created, or when a melee attack or instant-hit ranged attack is just about to hit you) while you're Blinded. It's weird.

Honestly, I can't even blame this stuff on spaghetti code. Quinn is almost as buggy as release Azir, but her bugs stem from a different problem altogether. She'd need a minor rework to be fixed, and even then, her Q, R2, and maybe her W active are the only things I'd be fine with seeing out of her kit. Everything else is just too iconic to go.

Also, if you vault off of an enemy that has an ability enhanced auto attack, they will land it when tou get close enough during the vault. Blitzcrank still lands the knock up Garen Q nails you for damage and silence Nasus Will get you caned Singed will still flip you Udyr will stun you Volibear see Singed MonkeyKing same as Garen, minus the silence.

I had a game on Free week deciding to buy Quinn or not. There was a 5/0 Ahri on mid with 100 hp who I decided to dive and kill with one auto.

I made the mistake of using my E and getting stuck inside of the turret, only to slowly die while she spammed laugh.

Never forget.

It bothers me that she gets hit by Nasus's q when she vaults. I would imagine that Quinn should be the perfect counter to Nasus. Unfortunately, since he can just q you when you attack him.....it kind of defeats the purpose.

I just don't know how they could ever fix that.

thats not a bug it is how it functions git gud

almost all the vaults that bugged she couldn't land in the spot that makes sense for the vault to jump back to.

so not sure what you want fixed with that, her to just hit the wall? or get thrown back over it?

also the blind and harrier videos are pretty old how sure are you that those bugs are still there?

I admit Quinn is pretty buggy sometimes, but this seems like more just trying to get people to watch your highlight video...
