I think you are confused, in Alpha strike he cannot be targeted, meaning basic attacks cannot directly hit him and skill shots and single target abilities cannot hit Once he is in alpha. BUT area of effects can still harm him. things like Morgana's W or Jinx's Q when its the missiles. The missiles do splash dmg so if hes in the area, regardless of Alpha or not, it will still do Dmg. So some examples from the video are Anivia's ulti or RIven's both are area effect. Another one i noticed is Lee, it seems you can target Yi right before Alpha and if you can target him before he goes into alpha it will still hit him in Alpha, which i think makes sense. Just My opinion [slayer-pantheon-thumbs]
Though this might have nothing to do with it since it says "8ms" but in a KR server? Sound like legit lag not really a bug. Unless he live in KR - but that's a KR issue not NA to my knowledge as I play Yi on NA
Sadly Its not a bug, looked into it, its designed that way.
"Dashes Projectiles (autoattacks or abilities) that are mid-flight when the character starts dashing will hit when the dash completes. They still take damage from DoTs while untargetable and all CC is delayed until the ability finishes casting.
Maokai Maokai's Twisted Advance.png Twisted Advance makes him untargetable while moving to the target. Master Yi Master Yi's Alpha Strike.png Alpha Strike makes him untargetable for a short time while in flight. Zed Zed's Death Mark.png Death Mark makes him untargetable while moving to the target.
