"Thread Stuck In Device Driver" BSOD while playing ARAM

This happened to me a few times in November and I've been afraid of playing League since then.

I'll be in an ARAM and the computer will freeze and stutter, then shut down with a "Thread Stuck In Device Driver" BSOD.

I've updated the video drivers, even replacing the default one that came with the machine.

My computer is as follows:

• Lenovo G50-55 - 90BG003JUS • Processor: AMD A10-7800 • Graphics: Integrated AMD Radeon R7 • RAM: 12 GB

I'm looking into upgrading this computer (needs a better PSU), but was also curious if I need a better graphics card.

I'm no computer expert, but a supernerd friend told me stay away from the word "integrated" when looking at the computers graphics cards.

The card didn't matter for what I play, but don't get the integrated ones.

do a clean install of the graphics driver, not just updating to the latest one. You need to uninstall the current driver, then install a new one. Update your BIOS as well.

It wouldn't hurt to buy a dedicated gpu though, and would likely solve your problem if updating drivers doesn't.
