It was the only ward there, I sweeped it, all other enemy champions were mid lane.

If you attack a ward it provides vision.

it works a bit like this: if you attack a ward which is being sweeped you are visible to the enemy team.

Looks like a blue trinket ward was placed into the bush NW of the Fiddlesticks...check minimap at full screen carefully about when the channel starts and you can see the blue dot there.
